We enjoyed an award packed, sunny afternoon at the Chester Music Festival, held at the Queen's School.
We had entered with an octet and quartet besides the chorus - and came home with 3 trophies! Hat Trick won the quartet trophy and Impromptu! won the small ensemble class.
Crystal Chords were thrilled to achieve the highest score from across the day among all the adult choirs, with an Outstanding festival score of 94. It really was a beautiful day, and a lovely festival venue. It was particularly good to hear the beautiful sounds of our friends and fellow LABBS members Mountain Harmony.
