Thank you for the music
How right ABBA were!
If you share the joy of singing and the amazing things the voice can do, why not get in touch.
We perform a cappella (unaccompanied) 4-part harmony in a variety of styles. Vocal and performance sessions to hone specialist techniques are all part of our continuous improvement. At all stages, new and existing members are 'mentored' and supported while being encouraged to grow and learn. Each voice is matched to the right vocal range (low to high = bass, baritone, lead - melody - and tenor) and each performer is encouraged to explore and expand the range and quality of their voice.
There are many benefits to singing aside from the 'wellbeing', stress-busting' and social factors. This interesting hobby also builds confidence. And of course the fun and friendship a large part of Crystal Chords. New members regularly comment on the genuine warmth and open friendliness of the group.
We are seeking enthusiastic women ...
One of our favourite sayings is "Sing like nobody's listening". That is: with joy, freedom, and a big heart.
The purest sound …
Here's our favourite clip, of 6 year old Connie Talbot in front of the Britain's Got Talent" panel. Living proof that – whatever your age – singing is a great thing to do!
Not sure if you can sing?
Then take a look at the following clips – it's all about passion!

A lot of women who are thinking of joining Crystal Chords say, "I cannot sing". Needless to say we practise techniques to improve both our singing voices and our stage presence. Our end aim is a rich, freely produced and resonant sound.
